Technical Training Centre, Chittagong was established in 1962. The total area of the Centre is 11.03 acres. This centre is Governed by the Director General of Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) under the Ministry of Expatriate, Welfare & Overseas Employment.

Our objective

  • To Conduct Institutional/Industrial Training.
  • To Develop Human Resource by imparting Technical & Vocational Training.
  • To Develop technical skill manpower as per need of local and overseas market.
  • To Improve the overall intellectual, economic and social condition of Bangladesh.
  • Enhance national & international cooperation, particularly with the Industries.
  • Role and Scope

    A goverment Technical Education centre of higher technical/engineering education, TTC serves approximately 40 traditional and nontraditional curriculum students who have a wide variety of technical educational goals, from personal enrichment to career development to higher technical/engineering education. To help students meet their goals, TTC offers different associate trades(S.S.C vocational) and different certificate courses (2 Months, 3 Months, 4 Months, 6 Months). The curriculum includes programs in both BMET (Bureau of Manpower, Employment & Training) and BTEB (Bangladesh Technical Education Board), TTC students draw on knowledge from a broad range of disciplines to develop the communication and critical thinking skills that are fundamental to lifelong learning.

    TTC further promotes economic development through continuing education courses; customized education and training for business, industry and government; and a variety of self-employment training programs.
